Seafood Wednesday with my business clients in Hialeah, Florida takes us to this small family owned restaurant called Le Minutera Seafood. At first glance I notice a little window on outside of building with people ordering Cuban coffee and take out and once inside a long counter with people eating lunch and I figured we walked into wrong place. We were met by a friendly hostess that guided us to the other side of wall and there it was full blown restaurant with table service.
Their menu had a good assortment of seafood from soups, ceee che, fried & grilled fish, and also some chicken and steak dishes all with two sides. We ordered fritura de bacalao as appetizer that was very good and I ordered grilled snapper with vegetables and side salad.and was all fresh and delicious. Portions were quite large so there was no room for dessert. A Cuban coffee and we were on our way.. place doran.'y look that great from the outside and inside about the same, but food and service was very good. -

Not the place it used to be... la minutera has declined. I came here for a quick lunch with a coworker and food was very disappointing.
Service was okay and prices not exactly cheap. But for the quality of food that we received it was definitely overpriced. I won't be coming back anytime soon. -

This is a small but cozy seafood restaurant with excellent food, would definitely go again.

In all honesty, one of the best seafood restaurants in all Miami, absolute freshness and really good quality in all I've tried. Service is pretty prompt and cordial.
Very easy to recommend. -

My friend ordered food from this restaurant thru Uber eats this past saturday May 4th and we were all very disappointed with the quality of food we received. First of all, we ordered mariquitas and expected freshly fried plantain chips but we got a bag of mariquitas like the ones you buy at any supermarket. We also order paella which was mostly rice with calamari. The rest of the paella seafood was a one inch of lobster, one medium size shrimp, a smaller shrimp and one tiny little shrimp, plus some bits of fish and a few bits of chicken, one lousy mussel which was not even opened which meant it was not alive when it was cooked and one clam. It was horrible It was served with maduros which were hard which meant they were not ripe enough to be even called maduros. All in all this place sucks. What a waste of money.
